Introducing Rob Patrick

My name is Rob Patrick.  I work in the Facilities department as a construction project manager and have been at Trinity for six years.

Interests are too many to list, but the short list includes: overlanding by dual sport motorcycle, family activities, fly fishing, photography, travel and exploration, generally anything outdoors.  My professional passions are structural engineering and construction.  I have a BS degree in Animal Science and a BS in Civil Engineering...originally wanted to pursue large animal veterinary practice, but then reality set in and I got a job with a general contractor, eventually returning to academia for the engineering.

I enjoy learning new skills and working with my hands, and this class provides both.  The CAD design is an added bonus.  Plus, I might be able to make more accessories for the bikes!

My first use of a 3D printer...the grey striated piece sandwiched in the middle is a mounting plate for a Garmin GPS.  This is a closeup of the navigation tower on my motorcycle (see first photo above).
